WHO WE ARE 
Confirmation
Confirmation is a public rite of the church by which an individual Christian is given opportunity to make a personal, public confession of faith. Recognizing and relying on God's promise in Baptism, one also makes a lifelong pledge of faithfulness to Christ. Youth confirmation instruction is offered for youth who have finished 6th, 7th or 8th grade. Adult confirmation is for those adults who have been baptized and wish to make a public profession of faith and join the church.

Prayer Pal News
Would you like to pray for a child as they grow in faith over the next 2 years? A vital part of our confirmation program is our Secret Prayer Pal ministry. You'll receive information about a student, pray for that child during their 2 years inconfirmation, and send them little anonymous notes on special occasions. They won't find out who has been doing this for them until their confirmation day -- it's so fun! For more information on this important service to our young people, please contact:

Memory Make-up Directions
Students who miss more than 25% of any memory quiz will need to re-take it at home. Make-up sheets will be available in the clear wall bins outside office #111. The student should study the assignment again, then ask a parent to give them the make-up quiz. The parent should then sign the quiz and the student turn it in before the next class session. Please put all make-up quizzes and missed classwork in the first- or second-year folder in the clear plastic drop-off bins outside the office #111.
We Need Parents! Parents are the glue that keep our families together, both at home and in the church! We need your help to keep confirmation a fulfilling and fun part of your children's lives.
Opportunities to serve include: Chaperone a field trip; 1st year December servant event and Walcamp retreat October 5th, 2013; 2nd year Menno Haven retreat September 28th, 2013; 2nd year Help make the confirmation banner; plan and coordinate other servant and/or fellowship events and outings.
