  Summer Camp Daily Schedule

There is no "ordinary day" at Our Savior's Summer  Day Camp. Each day is specially planned so that your child has an exciting and distinct summer camp experience. We are much more than a daycare, and strive to provide meaningful and age-appropriate activities for your son or daughter that makes learning fun all summer long. Exciting fieldtrips, daily devotions, art projects, science and nature lessons, sports, and drama are only a handful of the opportunities experienced every day at Our Savior. Please view the calendar for Summer 2013 to see all of the fieldtrips and unique activities we have planned for this year! Remember that activities and field trips are subject to change depending on availibity of venue and inclement weather.

 

Below is an overview of the schedule for summer camp. Some fieldtrips and projects (such as the servant event or hiking at West Branch) significantly alter the schedule. We will do our very best to keep you informed of each day's activities through the summer camp newsletter and at the Welcome table.


Please note that it is important to have your child dropped off no later than 9:00 AM without informing the summer camp staff. Some fieldtrips leave as early as 9:15 AM and we don't want your child to miss out.

Daily Schedule

6:30 - 8:00: Morning Extended Care

8:00 - 8:30: Welcome / Breakfast

8:30 - 9:00: Outdoor game

9:00 - 9:30: Small group Bible study / Chapel

9:30 - 10:00: Art / Projects

10:00: Morning Snack

10:00 - 11:30: Outdoor games / Drama / Science Projects / Lessons / Small group activities

11:30 - 12:00: Lunch

12:00 - 3:30: Water Park / Fieldtrip

3:45-4:00: Afternoon Snack

4:00 - 6:00: Afternoon Extended Care

All campers must be picked up by 6:00 PM. There is a $1 a minute late fee for campers picked up after 6:00 PM.
